Mr. Niess has the pleasure of having worked in the performing arts for more than 30 years. Beginning his college career as an architecture major and participating in the AIr Force R.O.T.C. program reinforced a disciplined and analytic attention to detail for him, often noted in his work. Making his own way through school and his early career, he also developed a resourcefullness and skill as a collaborator that has served him well.

Christopher's work spans over 200 productions, as director, choreographer, actor, dancer, performance artist or movement coach throughout the U.S., and in Canada, Germany and Scotland. His work with movement for actors and dancers has been presented at national and international conferences, and led to published work such as contribution to Playing with Theory in Theatre Practice (Palgrave-MacMillan, 2012) Browse around the site to see what collaborative possibilities await!
